STANDARD FIRST AID CPR-C WITH AED

STANDARD FIRST AID CPR-HCP WITH AED

A 2 day in-depth course for health care providers during which students learn to respond to most common medical emergencies. This course is more advanced than the Emergency course. Students also learn Health Care Provider  (HCP) CPR, automated external defibrillation (AED), and treatment for choking adults, children and infants. All courses meet OHS standards and are WSIB approved.

Child Care First Aid with AED

This Canadian Red Cross  Course is recognized by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and meets the requirements of the new child care regulations. Students learn first aid and CPR for children and infants along with adults.  This course is also known as Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C. New regulations take effect August 31, 2015.

CPR-C with AED

CPR-HCP with AED

EMERGENCY FIRST AID CPR-C WITH AED

EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER

Red Cross certification for those providing emergency response: firefighters, law-enforcement officers, emergency medical services personnel, and workplace responders. Meets the Paramedic Association of Canada National Occupational Competency Profile for the practitioner level of emergency medical responder (EMR).

Prerequisite: CPR C (or HCP). Unexpired card must be shown on first day of course.

Course Duration: Approximately 80 hours

EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER UPGRADE

Red Cross upgrade for those in possession of a valid First Responder (or Advanced Medical First Responder) certification. Meets the Paramedic Association of Canada National Occupational Competency Profile for the practitioner level of emergency medical responder (EMR). WE ARE ABLE TO UPGRADE ONLY UNEXPIRED FIRST RESPONDER AND ADVANCED MEDICAL FIRST RESPONDER CERTIFICATIONS. WE WILL NOT REFUND THOSE WHO REGISTER AND ARE UNABLE TO SHOW A VALID, UNEXPIRED CARD.

Prerequisite: Unexpired First Responder card or Advanced Medical First Responder card

Course Duration: 40 hours

FIRST RESPONDER

Red Cross certification for professional first responders or those wanting to become first responders. Course teaches techniques for sustaining life, preventing further injuries, and caring for illnesses and injuries until the next level of medical personnel arrives. Includes CPR level HCP and AED

Prerequisite: CPR C (unexpired card must be shown on first day of course)

Course Duration: Approximately 40 hours
